Terms of Service

To access core features, you need an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Remain responsible for activity under your account

If you are part of a team workspace, you are responsible for managing user permissions appropriately.

Unspend helps you consolidate subscription invoices and monitor software spend.

You may use the Services only for lawful internal business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Use the Services to harass, abuse, or impersonate another person/entity
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt platform operations
• Use automated scraping outside approved APIs
• Access data you are not authorized to access

By using Unspend, you authorize us to process data you upload, sync, or generate through the platform, including vendor data, email metadata/content required for invoice detection, extracted invoice fields, and usage logs, strictly to deliver and improve the Services.

Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. In short:

• We don't sell your data
• We don't use your data for advertising profiles
• We process data needed to provide the Services

Unspend supports integrations like Gmail and Microsoft through OAuth-based permissions.

When you connect third-party accounts:

• You authorize access required to provide selected features
• You may revoke access in Unspend or directly in the source platform
• We use connected data only for your chosen functionality

Some Unspend features use AI to classify communications and extract invoice details. AI outputs assist decision-making and may not always be perfect.

You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before taking material financial action.

Certain Services require a paid subscription.

• Pricing and billing terms are shown at purchase or in your plan details
• Paid plans may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal
• Changes to plans typically apply from the next billing cycle

Unless required by law, fees paid are non-refundable.

You may stop using Unspend at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your activity risks security, fraud, or platform abuse
• We are required to do so by law

Where practical, we will provide notice and allow data export options.

Unspend and its platform content, trademarks, code, and design remain Unspend property. You may not copy, resell, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You retain ownership of your data. You grant Unspend a limited license to process that data only as needed to provide and improve the Services.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect detection accuracy, or error-free availability.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Unspend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, Unspend's aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid by you to Unspend in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example email or in-app notice). Continued use after updates means acceptance of revised Terms.
